Earlier this week as part of the King’s Birthday 2023 Honours List, MNSW was elated to note that our Life Member and St George Motorcycle Club’s very own Mrs Janice Blizzard was named as one of the OAM recipients for her service to motor sports.

Mrs Blizzard joined the St George Motor Cycle Club as a 15-year-old in 1955, eventually going on to serve as race secretary for 60 years and president for 11 years. She also officiated at all motorcycle meetings conducted at Oran Park from when it opened in 1963, at most events at Amaroo Park from 1964 and at every meeting at Mt Panorama, Bathurst from 1951 to 1993.
