Motorcycling NSW excitedly awaits round 1 of the 2023 MNSW Junior Motocross State Titles this weekend. Scheduled to be hosted by Moree MCC on April 22 and 23, the event is sure to have on display some of the most exciting and promising young riders from around the state.
Originally scheduled to host round 2 of the Championship on the same dates, Moree Motorcycle Club welcomed the rescheduled dates, announced nearly a month ago in late March. Accordingly, round 2 will now be hosted by Macarthur MCSC on April 29 & 30 at Macarthur Motorcycle Complex, Appin. Entries for the same will remain open until Tuesday, April 25. Register here.
A Change in Format
The 2023 Motocross State Tiles has changed format from previous years. In 2023 the Motocross State Titles will have 2 separate events series. The first series will be the 2023 Junior Motocross State Titles which will be a 3-round series where riders will accumulate points over the 3 rounds based on their finishing position. The second series will be the 2023 Senior Motocross State Titles which will be a 2-round series where riders will accumulate points over the 2 rounds based on their finishing position.
Race Format
All competitive classes will race on both Saturday and Sunday; the Race Order will not be determined until event registrations close at Midnight this Tuesday. The premise of the new event format is to allow riders more time on the track, we will see a full day of racing on Saturday and aim to be finished mid-afternoon Sunday.
A presentation will take place on Sunday afternoon where the current series leader in each class positioned 1st – 3rd will be recognised.
Please note that Moree Motorcycle Club will have camping available on Sunday night for anyone who requires it.
