ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Motorcycling NSW Limited (MNSW), which will be held under the conditions of the MNSW Constitution – Annual General Meeting 12.1, at the Bankstown Sports Club – Birdwood Room 8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown NSW 2200 and via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 23rd May 2024 at 7.00pm.

DRAFT AGENDA

Please see below the draft agenda for the 2023 Motorcycling NSW Limited Annual General Meeting. The final meeting agenda and other business will be distributed at least 21 days prior (Thursday 2nd May 2024).

Any additional business a Club Delegate or Life Member wishes to raise at the General Meeting and/or any *Proposed Notices of Motion regarding ‘amendments’ to the Motorcycling NSW Limited Constitution (Notice of Motion Form – Attachment 1) and any agenda items must be addressed to the Motorcycling NSW CEO and be received not less than 28 days prior (Thursday 25th April 2024).

  1. Chairperson address and welcome
  2. Apologies
  3. Minutes from previous AGM (25th May 2023)
  4. MNSW Audited 2023 Financial Statements
  5. Appoint Auditor for 2024 financial year
  6. Receive ballot results for election of directors
  7. Affiliation fees for 2024
  8. Notices of Motion/Special Resolutions
  9. Life Member nominations

Prior to the Annual General Meeting (2nd May, 2024), the following will be presented to the Company’s Members:

  • MNSW Annual General Meeting Final Agenda
  • MNSW 2023 Annual Report
  • MNSW 2023 Audited Financial Statements
  • Proposed 2024 Affiliation Fees.

DIRECTOR NOMINATIONS

The following Director positions will become retired at the 2023 Annual General Meeting;

  • Director Chelsea Cheney (Appointed December 2021)
  • Director Tanya Raffoul    (Appointed September 1 2023 – fulfilled a casual vacancy)
  • Vacancy                             (Vacant since September 1, 2023)

Director nominations will occur for the above three positions. The eligibility for Directorship with Motorcycling NSW Limited can be sighted within the MNSW Constitution and in particular clause 16.2 Qualifications.
