Motorcycling NSW is excited to announce and congratulate the finalists across our various community award categories in this year’s Motorcycling NSW Awards. These award categories recognise various outstanding skills, passion for our sport, exceptional leadership, other invaluable contributions by members of our community as well as clubs.

Volunteer of the Year
The Volunteer of the Year Award carries the highest honour at the Motorcycling NSW Awards. The purpose of this award is to honour a Volunteer whose dedicated service has had a significant impact on motorcycling and its community. The finalists are-

- Michael Knight – Dungog Motorcycle Club
- Karen Spooner – Wollongong Motorcycle Club
- Roula Thimiopoulos – Blacktown Junior Mini Bike Club
Youth Volunteer of the Year
This award recognises exceptional leadership, outstanding contribution and achievements by a youth member aged 25 years old or younger at the close of the judging period. The finalists are-
- Jeffery Ferguson – South Grafton Ex Sevices Motorcycle Club
- Raphaella Thimiopoulos–Wilson – Blacktown Junior Mini Bike Club
Community Club Volunteer of the Year
The Community Club Awards recognises outstanding achievements and contributions made across NSW by our volunteers in the community. The finalists are-

- Michelle & Todd Herbert – Cessnock Motocross Club
- Greg Holmes – Vintage Trail Riders Club

Coach of the Year
This award recognises a coach who consistently displays outstanding personal attributes, administerial skills and education within our motorcycling community. The finalists are-

Official of the Year
This award recognises an official who consistently displays both outstanding personal attributes, administerial skills and education within our motorcycling community. Officials include Stewards, Clerk of Course, Race Secretary, Scrutineers and Coaches. The finalists are-

- Anthony Corby – Lower Mountains Motorcycle Club

President/Chairperson of the Year
This award recognises exceptional leadership, outstanding contribution, and achievements by a member in the role. The finalists are-

Administrator of the Year
This award recognises an administrator who has set the standard for volunteer community sport administration, including such roles as Secretary, Treasurer, MPIO, Social Media Coordinator, Vice President, Official Director to name a few. The finalists are-

This award recognises a Motorcycle Club for overall excellence in administration, operations and event success during the period. This award pays particular attention to strategies, projects, programs and innovation that enhance and support participation growth in Riders, Officials and coaching representing the ‘best in class’. Community Club Event of the Year

Outstanding Community Social Media Account of the Year
