About Motorcycling NSW
Motorcycling NSW is the official governing body for motorcycle sport in NSW & the ACT, managing the administration, development, and promotion of all motorcycle racing and recreational activities. With a membership base stretching over 100 affiliated clubs, we oversee various disciplines including Dirt Track, Enduro, Motocross, Road Race, Speedway, and more.

What You’ll Do
As the Sport & Event Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, working closely with our Sport Development Manager and CEO to increase participation in motorcycle competitions, recreational and enhance event delivery. Your role will include:
- Administering participation and permitting requirements for clubs, members, and promoters
- Supporting the smooth execution of Motorcycling NSW and Club events
- Managing general inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely responses
- Handling permit applications, track licensing, and injury reports
- Participating in CRM (Ridernet) management and monthly data reporting
- Representing Motorcycling NSW at stakeholder events and fostering relationships with external partners like the NSW Office of Sport
- Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of our Strategic Plan
- Managing officials’ seminars and liaising with media representatives when needed.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, process-driven professional who can juggle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll need excellent communication skills (written and oral), strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A background in customer service, particularly in a sport or membership-based organisation, is essential, and while a motorsport background is not required, it will be viewed favourably.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- High level of computer literacy, particularly in CRM or membership management systems
- Experience in event management, health & safety, or sports administration is a plus
- Current Working with Children Check and a valid driver’s license
