It is with profound sadness that Motorcycling NSW announces the passing of Life Member Peter Dow.
Peter’s nearly four-decade-long dedication to our sport and organisation has left an indelible mark on the motorcycling community and most significantly his club Macarthur Motorcycle Club. Despite battling health challenges for some time, Peter remained a pillar of strength and commitment to motorcycling until his final day.
Peter was most recently recognised at the recent Motorcycling NSW Annual General Meeting on May 23 this year where he was awarded with Life Membership of the organisation. Peter’s life membership was more than an award; it was a celebration of his remarkable journey and the profound legacy he left on Motorcycling NSW. His contributions reflect the extraordinary dedication Peter brought to our sport and organisation.
Peter’s passing is a significant loss to the motorcycling community. His passion, dedication, and leadership profoundly shaped Motorcycling NSW, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations across the community. Despite his health battles, Peter’s spirit and commitment never wavered, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Peter Dow’s memory will forever remain a part of Motorcycling NSW.
We extend our deepest condolences to Peter’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
